Meet the breeder

I'm Lisa B., the breeder behind Willow’s AKC Golden Retrievers located in Calistoga, CA. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Lisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

I began breeding because I wanted to do something that I loved and enjoyed while being a stay at home wife and mom. We love our Golden girls so much, so giving that gift to a family to add a new member to their homes is so rewarding.
  • What makes your program special?

My puppies are raised as part of our family. I work hard to keep my families involved with the entire process from the journey of the mom’s pregnancy until the day they pick their puppy up. I post videos and photos daily via my Facebook page “Willow’s AKC Golden Retrievers” I am always available to my families for FaceTime visits or simply to answer any questions they may have along the way.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
