Meet the breeder

I'm Brianna and Tony L., the breeder behind Windcliff Goldens located in Lake City, MN. We are a selective breeding program, including the health testing of parents. We also focus on temperament and the overall well-being of our dogs. We breed to produce happy and healthy puppies that can continue to thrive in their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Brianna and Tony

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved and grew up around golden retrievers. My last golden retriever, Lexi passed away from a brain tumor at 12 years old. I was devastated and from there decided I wanted to do whatever I could to better the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We want to set our puppies and our families up for success. To accomplish this we follow "Puppy Culture". We do Early Neurological Stimulation in days 3-16 and from there do many sound and sensory activities to provide as much early experiences as possible. The puppies are raised in our family home and handled by our family members including the children.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
