Q. & A. with Gayle
Why did you start breeding?
Our first Coton de Tulear, Tiger Lily, was show quality. Cotons were a rare breed in the U.S. at the time. Our Coton breeder encouraged us to study health testing, adult conformation, and responsible breeding. Her mentoring led me to a passionate desire to protect the future of this purebred, charming companion dog.
What makes your program special?
I am a Code of Ethics Breeder with the U.S. National Parent Coton de Tulear Clubs. Our Cotons are extensively health-tested and are listed with OFA. Their DNA profiles are on file with the AKC. We strive to produce high-quality puppies with happy-go-lucky temperaments, a beautiful appearance, and robust health. All our puppies are registered with the AKC and UKC on behalf of their new owners.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
