I'm Elmer V., the breeder behind Purebred Poodle in search of new home located in Chicago, IL. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. We raise our dogs in our home right alongside our family. We love being able to match our puppies with families that are the right fit for their new house dog.

Why did you start breeding?
I found my best friend Denali (white coat blue eyes), my 5 year old husky and I wanted to share the experience of raising a new husky puppy from the time they are ready to connect with their FURever home.
What makes your program special?
I’m located in the south Chicagoland area and I stand out because there are few breeder raising husky puppies in my area.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Elmer

Elmer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,050 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes the deposit to hold the puppy. 1st puppy shots and deworming. I assess a $250 deposit to hold the puppy for you more a maximum of 14 days. The $250 deposit is charged for any scheduled pick-up.”

Contract & health guarantee

Elmer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
