Meet the breeder

I'm WMHK9/ R., the breeder behind WMHK9/Roolyn German Pinschers located in Chatham, VA. Our dogs are bred for their temperament and health with an emphasis on conformation. The structure has its purpose so joints don't easily break down from working or even day-to-day activities. Strong nerves, and drive for trainability , while still maintaining temperaments to be able to be your new companion.

Q. & A. with WMHK9/

  • Why did you start breeding?

I first started helping a breeder friend with her dogs and puppies at age 13, It ended up going into working with another breeder and so forth. I have experience training, showing, working in Kennels, for groomers and trainers and everything in between. I trained with a Columbus LEO for many years before he passed in the line of duty. I was gifted dogs and co-owns to start and eventually went on to where I am today.
  • What makes your program special?

I put my everything into my program every day. I am here for the good or bad. I enjoy attending seminars to learn more and take the time to Health test, train, and learn what structure and working ability really is and how they should go together. I like to have a nice dog to look at, If the dog is a mess structurally the body will break down with work it was intended to do or day to day life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

It has truly been a wonderful experience working with WMHK9/Roolyn. She is very knowledgeable and remained responsive throughout the process. Her genuine care for the health and wellbeing of the puppies does not go unnoticed. Our Luna is the prefect sweet girl, very confident and curious with a wonderful temperament. Even after bringing our puppy home, WMHK9/Roolyn continues to be a great resource, offering guidance and support when needed. We are so grateful for our new family member and the pleasant experience. I would glady work with WMHK9/Roolyn again. If you are looking for a new four legged addition to your family, WMHK9/Roolyn will not disappoint.

WMHK9/Roolyn German Pinschers provides a comprehensive experience. Delivering high quality puppies and support for new owners. My puppy was delivered in great condition, alert, happy and litter trained. After one week in his new home he demonstrates the capacity to learn quickly and get along well with my two Manchester terriers. His first Vet visit went very well, my vet stated that my puppy was in great condition. I would gladly go with Roolyn again.

So, it's been about 3 months since we welcomed Lionel into our lives! And they have been the best 3 months in a while! We really lucked out with this breeder and with this puppy! He is intelligent very loving and has the cutest disposition! The breeder is knowledgeable caring and accessable, she has even been available to answer any questions we've had along the way. If this is the breed you're interested in I would definitely reach out to Mountain Haven!

I am now the proud owner of a beautiful, intelligent and sweet baby boy. He’s just perfect! In just two weeks, he has settled in nicely at our home and gets along great with my cat. Already has learned commands and rings the bell to go out! WMHK/Roolyn was very easy to work with and stayed in constant contact with updates on my puppy. It was definitely worth the drive from South Carolina to Virginia.

This was a top notch experience from start to finish. We thought leading up to picking up the puppy that this was a thorough and thoughtful breeder. After the exchange and learning puppy’s demeanor and intelligence, we knew we made the right choice. Hands down 10/10 no notes. Thank you Roolyn!
