I'm Alyssa M., the breeder behind Wolf Mountain Farm located in Markleysburg, PA. I fell in love with the Central Asian Shepherds from using them on my own farm. We’re focused on healthy dogs, from proven working lines. Our puppies are raised with care and early socialization, producing confident, capable guardians with strong temperaments.

Why did you start breeding?
After having livestock experience for over 6 years, I knew I wanted to have a very small breeding program with our beloved dogs. It just fits.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are raised in an environment to experience other dogs and livestock as well as kids and people of all types. Our puppies get the exposure to start them out on the right foot and helps them to stay confident and consistent in their temperament.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, gray, white, brindle, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Alyssa
Alyssa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Alyssa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
"Puppy price includes UKC registration, first round of deworming and vaccines. And puppy socialization. We require a deposit to reserve your puppy. If chosen puppy is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, deposit will be moved to waitlist if another puppy is unavailable."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

+6Alyssa was incredibly professionally and demonstrated so much love and care for her dogs. She helped us answer all of our questions ahead of time and even anticipated what we needed. Working with Alyssa was an ABSOLUTE pleasure! She was extremely responsive and kept me updated throughout the entire process from making the deposit to picking up my new fur-baby. I met with and interviewed with a fair amount of CAS breeders, and Alyssa was by far the most knowledgeable and responsive while truly caring about the pups.
