I'm Alyssa M., the breeder behind Wolf Mountain Farm located in Markleysburg, PA. I fell in love with the Central Asian Shepherds from using them on my own farm. We’re focused on healthy dogs, from proven working lines. Our puppies are raised with care and early socialization, producing confident, capable guardians with strong temperaments.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After having livestock experience for over 6 years, I knew I wanted to have a very small breeding program with our beloved dogs. It just fits.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are raised in an environment to experience other dogs and livestock as well as kids and people of all types. Our puppies get the exposure to start them out on the right foot and helps them to stay confident and consistent in their temperament.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, gray, white, brindle, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alyssa

Alyssa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Alyssa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,200 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy price includes UKC registration, first round of deworming and vaccines. And puppy socialization. We require a deposit to reserve your puppy. If chosen puppy is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, deposit will be moved to waitlist if another puppy is unavailable.”

Alyssa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     If you are looking for the absolute best breeder look no further than Alyssa. She is beyond responsive incredibly knowledgeable and entirely straight to the point. She took the time to expertly address every concern I had about the breed. Her customer service is truly next level. I was navigating an extended honeymoon and a major relocation to Pennsylvania and she flawlessly accommodated boarding our puppy Freya for an extra seven weeks. The communication and honesty were stellar the entire time. When I visited her property to pick up Freya I was blown away. The housing and care these dogs receive is an easy 12 out of 10. I would recommend Alyssa ten times over. Our Central Asian Shepherd is the absolute sweetest dog with the biggest heart and we constantly receive compliments on her wonderful manners and friendly nature.

    Alyssa was incredibly professionally and demonstrated so much love and care for her dogs. She helped us answer all of our questions ahead of time and even anticipated what we needed.     Working with Alyssa was an ABSOLUTE pleasure! She was extremely responsive and kept me updated throughout the entire process from making the deposit to picking up my new fur-baby.
