I'm Dayla L., the breeder behind Wolves Den Ranch located in Dunnellon, FL. We are conscientious in our breeding practices, and we breed for health, temperament, drive, and ability. We want our dogs to be biddable and able to succeed wherever they are needed, as well as to thrive in their homes with their families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We love the breed and gravitate to their loyalty, grace, and beauty how easily they could be trained and we wanted to try our best to health test and better the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

    We keep in contact with every one of our families through Facebook. We keep up with photos and photo albums of every puppy. I try to stay in contact with everyone and give them assistance in anyway I can doesn’t matter what time of day or night . We always health test our breeding dogs to produce healthy stable puppies and temperament test and puppy culture from birth
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our German Shepherd puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our German Shepherd puppies include black, black and tan, black and red, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Temperament Test

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
