I'm Amanda, the breeder behind Woodpecker Ridge Pups located in Tampa Bay, FL. Having dogs in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! Matching each family with the right puppy is the key to our success and yours. Why did you start breeding?
We started out rescuing. We learned very quickly there was lack of ethical breeders. We have always put our puppies first.What makes your program special?
Our pups are hand raised in our home and very well socialized. We are up round the clock making sure the get the best care possible.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Morkie puppies include tan, piebald, black, black & tan tri-color, white, and black and tan. Mal-Shi puppies include white, white and tan, and black and white. French Bulldog puppies include brindle, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda
Amanda has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amanda partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"We love to chat and get to know everyone who is interested in taking home one of our sweet babies. Our goal is to ensure each puppy is placed in a loving, safe, and committed home where they will be cherished as part of the family. Once we’ve had a chance to connect and feel it’s a great fit, families will be approved to bring a puppy home. This helps us make sure our puppies receive the love, care, and lifelong commitment they deserve. 🐾💛 We truly care about where our babies go and love building relationships with the families who welcome them home."
Price
"Each puppy will go to new home with a puppy starter pack and health certificate. Starter pack will include 1st does of flea and tick and heart worm med, a blanket, a collar, a toy, food, and health certificate. Each pup will be up to date on shots and deworming. . We ask for half down to hold. We can be flexible on deposit. Deposits are non refundable unless something happens in our care or our vet finds a fault."

We had the best experience with Woodpecker Ridge Pups. Amanda responded immediately to each of my inquiries. She patiently guided me through the whole process of selecting, paying, and waiting for Gaia to be old enough to come home. I had a lot of questions too, but she was always there to answer my texts. She sent pictures each week while we waited for Gaia to grow to the required weight and age. Those were a delight. Gaia changed so much each week. And Amanda and her whole family were so helpful and friendly when we went to pick up Gaia. Amanda answered more questions about feedings, baths and snacks. She’s extremely knowledgeable about everything “puppy”! It makes me feel even more confident knowing I can text her anytime going forward when I have more questions or concerns. +5Our family is absolutely eager to share our experience with Amanda (and her family) of Woodpecker Ridge Pups! We have just been blessed by adopting our lovely malshi, Falkor earlier this week. We have been desperately looking to fill an empty void in our home after our last puppy passed. As fate would have it, I connected with Amanda and quickly recognized how much she cared and dedicated her time to the puppies she raised. Flying across the country to hand deliver our pup instead of sending him alone or with a nanny further solidified this. She answered all our questions honestly and promptly, leaving no information hidden. More importantly, we couldn’t receive our pup right away and she, without hesitation, offered to hold him for a few weeks before flying out. I quote my wife that the “wait was unbearable” but was beyond worth it for our bundle of joy! Amanda continually kept contact throughout each week with pictures and videos. We greatly appreciated the extra time she took and it helped us feel connected to Falkor even before he joined our family. In a world where some breeders are looking just to make a profit, Amanda and her family pour their hearts into all their dogs. Falkor’s smooth transition and wonderful personality are a testament to that. We are forever grateful and believe that the stars aligned to bring our families together. I love Amanda, she walked me through the whole process. Even after I picked up my dog, and for some days later, I had so many questions, and she was able to answer all the questions for me.
