Meet the breeder

I'm Tyler W., the breeder behind Wyant Farms located in Coshocton, OH. My wife and I picked specific dogs that have years worth of genetic health testing to provide our customers with the healthiest puppy possible. We care for and socialize our puppies for many hours every day. Our dogs do not live outside, they are apart of our family. I work in home appraisal and my wife is an animal health inspector.

Q. & A. with Tyler

  • Why did you start breeding?

We purchased our first wooly husky in 2017. We fell in love since day one. We are hooked on this breeds strong personality and for some reason their stubbornness. We purchased a female a few years later and are now starting our breeding program in 2022. We have been riding, breeding, and training horses for over 23 years.
  • What makes your program special?

We Embark or AKC DNA health test all of our breeding dogs to ensure no genetic diseases are passed down to our puppies. Our breeding dogs live in our home. They have a large 1/2 acre fenced in yard to run in and get plenty of exercise. All of our breeding dogs and puppies are check by the vet regularly to ensure they are healthy.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black tan and white, gray and white, sable and white, red and white, black and white, and agouti and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We had such an amazing experience with Thor’s breeder and truly couldn’t be happier with our new baby! From the very beginning, communication was clear, responsive, and honest, which made the entire process feel so comfortable and trustworthy. Thor came home happy, healthy, and already so well-socialized. You can tell he was raised with a lot of love and care. His temperament is incredible—playful, affectionate, and already fitting in perfectly with our family (and our other pets!). Tyler was also incredibly helpful with answering all of our questions and made sure we felt confident bringing him home. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do and genuinely care about their puppies. If you’re looking for a responsible, caring breeder who raises beautiful, well-adjusted puppies, I highly recommend them. We are so grateful for our sweet boy Thor! 🐾

Tyler and his wife were a pleasure to work with. They made themselves available and provided me with frequent updates on our puppy now named Malcolm. They were more than generous with traveling to meet us halfway to get Malcolm. You can see their love and passion for their animals through the Good Dog app and through their Facebook page, but I was able to witness that firsthand. They are truly wonderful people, and we love our husky Malcolm. We have a family with two huskies. Malcolm has a brother. His name is Niko and he has 3 Malcolm is 1❤️ Their compassion and concerned for Malcolm‘s adjustment is over-the-top. We couldn’t be happier thank you to Wyant Farms.

The Wyant family was such a pleasure to work with. I got weekly updates and photos of our handsome little guy. Tyler was helpful throughout the process, making sure all documents were good to go and helped set up transport. Always got quick responses throughout our communication as well. Our newest family member is just as sweet as can be. He loves playing with the older girls, laying in and eating snow, laying on the deck making sure the neighborhood is safe, and learning new tricks (mostly for the treats). Highly recommend Wyant Farm. We are just over the moon in love with “Oreo” now named Valo which means light.

They were a dream to with with! Our beautiful pup, Echo (Cadbury) has been nothing short of a joy. Totally socialized, sweet, well adjusted and fell right into the lap of our family so perfectly. Also, I don't know what magic sparkle dust they used but he's nearly completely potty trained and it's been one week (!!!). He's a wonderful pup in every way and we are so grateful for the the obvious impeccable care he received coming into this world. We cannot imagine life without him!

I got my best friend from them a little over a year ago now. Maverick is the best dog with the biggest personality! Want farms was an absolute blessing to work with . They kept us up to date on how he is doing and growing with pictures, until he was ready to come home. He was healthy and as happy as can be. They truly love and care for all their dogs and puppies. They answered any questions I had and offered any advice I needed without hesitation. We still keep in touch so they can see how our pup is doing and growing . Don’t miss your chance to find your new addition to your family . You can not go wrong with them ! -Erin Lane & Pup Maverick
