I'm Lisa F., the breeder behind Wyoming Springer Spaniels located in Torrington, WY. Our dogs have excellent temperament and health. Springer Spaniels are a special breed -- easy to train and eager to please. We love these dogs and when we have had a litter, we raise the puppies in our home with hours of holding and training to ensure a smooth transition to their new families. We currently have our second litter of puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
Our dog Max (a springer) passed away suddenly at age five, and as I reflected on his life and how much he meant to me, I decided to try and share that with the rest of the world. Life with a dog is better than life without :-) and springers are especially gifted animals -- gifted at making human life better. I feel that raising springer spaniel pups is one way I can make the world a better place.What makes your program special?
We own both parents and they live in our home with us. My work hours have some flexibility, so I am able to spend a minimum of 20 hours per week holding these pups, teaching them, and getting them ready make a good transition into someone else's home. It's good work!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-roan, lemon and white, black and white, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
