I'm Kari R., the breeder behind Z Tykev Vino LLC located in Buffalo, WV. We are dedicated to producing exceptional, healthy German Shepherds that can excel in professional settings and in the home. We breed with a focus on temperament and ability, and we only breed dogs that are healthy and have proven themselves to be outstanding at their jobs. Our puppies are adaptable and trainable, and we train and socialize them while they are with us to prepare them for their future roles. These dogs can do it all, and we make sure to foster that versatility beginning from the moment they're born.

Getting a puppy from Kari
Kari has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes comprehensive vet exam, first vaccines, dewormings, and contract with 2 year hip and elbow guarantee. ESI/ENS. Transportation available at buyers expense. Deposit is due upon confirmation of pregnancy. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or gender. We sell our puppies as 1st pick male, 2nd pick male etc. Picks aren’t made until 6 weeks old after Volhards temperament testing is completed. Only exception for deposit refund is if she doesn’t have enough puppies to satisfy pick amount — or your deposit can be transferred.”

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

HI I HAVE NO REGRETS. I NAME HER SWEETIE. SHE IS A SMART K LITTLE GIRL. THE WEATHER IS CAUSING HER POTTY TRAINING TO ME SLOWER THAN NORMAL, UT NOT HER FAULT. SHE IS MUCH BETTER.
