Meet the breeder

I'm Giulia S., the breeder behind Zugspitze Pembroke Welsh Corgis located in Pueblo, CO. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament and structure. All our dogs are proven in AKC venues which include Conformation and Fast CAT.

Q. & A. with Giulia

  • Why did you start breeding?

As I was very involved in the German Shepherd Community including breeding show stock in Germany, but had to cut back after medical issues, my husband and decided to take a step back and find a breed that will not take such a toll on me and my current health. After long research we found the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and it sure did not take long for us to completely fall in love with the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our program special is the dedication we put in to not only give our dogs the best possible family life, but also how hard we work on proving our dogs in conformation and sport events to preserve the breed standard of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, white and red, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Giulia was absolutely wonderful, she has a lot of experience and knowledge about the breed. We stayed in touch every step of the way, and she answered my husband’s many questions. All health information was provided for the puppy, and we were able to do a video call to see the puppy before we met him. We got a very healthy, absolutely beautiful puppy from Giulia, he is a perfect fit for our family. We look forward to getting another puppy from her in the future, once this one is grown and ready for a companion.
