Zuska Siberians

Susan P.

Breeder of Siberian Huskies

Meet the breeder

I'm Susan P., the breeder behind Zuska Siberians located in Joseph, OR. We produce well-adjusted puppies that enjoy the show ring, the trail, or curled up on our couch! Our dogs are bred for health and proper temperament along with the structure and athleticism necessary for a sled dog. We find joy in what we do and would love to introduce you to your next companion!

Q. & A. with Susan

  • Why did you start breeding?

My initial goal was to have a dog that would attain an AKC Championship. In 1999 I searched for and received my first show Siberian. In 2000, I added a second Siberian to my bunch. The 2nd became a champion before the first. At that time my goal became to breed my own champion. In 2002 I had my first litter of 3. All attained their championships. My second litter of 1 was a top winner for 2 years.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to breed versatile Siberians capable of working and competing in the show ring. My dogs must work well with others, both human and canine. I prioritize health, temperament, and structure in my program. I truly love my dogs and find such joy and fulfillment in preparing them to excel within their forever families.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
