I'm Misty L., the breeder behind 208 Dox Dynasty located in Nampa, ID. We breed Miniature Dachshunds with health, quality, & temperament in mind. Our Dachshunds are carefully & selectively bred we put these qualities at the forefront. We make every effort to produce well-socialized puppies bred for temperament, making them wonderful future additions to any family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My parents bred and raised dachshunds, so I grew up with this breed, helping to raise and care for them from a young age myself. That lifelong love inspired me to continue the tradition. With my husband’s support, I began breeding to share healthy, well-raised miniature dachshunds with families who love the breed as much as I do.

  • What makes your program special?

    At 208 Dox Dynasty, every puppy is treated like royalty. Our small program focuses on elite bloodlines, excellent health, and early nurturing fit for a future noble companion. Each dachshund is raised in our home with care, intention, and a regal standard that sets our dynasty apart.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, black, chocolate, chocolate and cream, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Misty

Misty has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Misty partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppies are $2,500–$4,000 due to careful breeding, health testing, quality bloodlines, vet care, early socialization, and the dedicated, hands-on start each puppy receives. We ask for a $500 deposit to hold the puppy of your choosing, this is non-refundable, if you choose to back out of purchasing a puppy, we will not refund the $500.”

Misty may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
