I'm Jaxon H., the breeder behind 208 Weenies located in Blackfoot, ID. Our dogs are companions, we breed with health and wellness in mind upholding ethical standards. The longevity of our personal pups is of the utmost importance. We hope to welcome a dachshund into your home if it's the right fit!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Initially, we got a dachshund as a pet and the idea of breeding floated around as we experienced so much happiness with our puppy. The snuggly companionship of our dog was too great to not share, we loved the first one so much we got a second one! Thankfully, we have had good examples of ethical breeders around us to educate and help guide our decision to breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are pets first. Right now we have one girl that is actively participating. We have one other dog, but she is still a puppy so breeding is quite some time away. We don't intend on expanding, bringing a piece of our personal lives into yours via puppies of our best friends.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate and tan and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jaxon

Jaxon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jaxon partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes guaranteed vet health check up, first round vaccinations, deworming, and the puppy! Deposit holds the puppy selected and is fully-refundable if the sale does not work out. Prices of our puppies are dependent on numerous factors including color, sex, paperwork, and more.”

Jaxon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Our experience with Jaxon 208 Weenies couldn't have gone any better. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first since, I have never bought a puppy from Good Dog. But boy was I wrong.     208 weenies was very responsive and friendly from start to finish during our adoption and always sent us little updates and photos/videos of our puppy periodically , answered all the questions we had and made the whole process super easy . Through seeing the photos and videos and getting little updates you can see how well their litters are treated and how they really are family. From the first second of getting our puppy, little flint was so loving and excited to meet new people and even went straight to the pee pad when we set him down . I highly recommend 208 weenies if you’re wanting an easy and friendly process from a very responsible breeder that treats each puppy like family .

    Jaxon from 208 weenies was super friendly and fantastic to work with.. He is very knowledgeable with dash hounds.. I love the fact that they were pets for them.Not just breeders.. They kept us updated with videos.. And lots of pictures.. They were quick to always answer any questions I had.. Picking her up was emotional for both me and my wife..we recently had to have one of our fur baby's put to sleep..Hazel is a gift from heaven.. I would highly recommend Jaxon..

    Jaxon and His wife were perfect to work with. They kept me updated on Bella, sending pictures and answering my tons of questions. I could tell early on I was working with the right breeder. They poured a lot of love into my little Bella and she is a calm well adjusted puppy. I can’t say enough praise about the process from start to delivery. It was smooth and there were no surprises.! They truly care about the pups they have and would recommend them to anyone looking to expand their fur family.
