I'm Jamie H., the breeder behind 2Harts Aussies located in Middleton, ID. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! Our dogs are an integral part of our lives. We raise them as a cohesive part of our family from day one to ensure that they’ll make the best and most versatile companions to your family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We lost our first Aussie unexpectedly and quickly, and we were heart-broken. She was so much a part of our everyday life and not having her with us was very hard for our family. We decided to get a puppy a few months later and contacted a local breeder. We had such a wonderful experience visiting the two puppies that we bought and were really intrigued by the entire process. Aussies are wonderful companions and adventure buddies and we wanted to give other families the opportunity to love one. We went through the process of testing and were thrilled to find a sire to call our own as well. Delivering puppies to their new owners brings us so much joy and we love seeing updates and pictures of our puppies thriving in their new families! It's a full circle process for us!

  • What makes your program special?

    We love and care deeply for our dams and sires, as they are truly part of our family. We are a part of the birthing process with our dams, loving them from the start. They spend all their time bonding with their mama in the whelping box, but our family does hold them and give developmentally appropriate stimulation at an early age. We spend time holding, talking to, and caring for them. This includes spa days! We begin potty training techniques at 3-4 weeks old, which makes potty training efforts so much easier for their new owners. We take the puppies in car rides and other activities once their vaccines are up to date. There is no shortage of love and attention for our puppies and adult dogs!

Getting a puppy from Jamie

Jamie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $250 - $850 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes ASDR registration, genetic testing of parents, first round of vaccines, dewormer, beginning potty training, a book about Aussie personalities and training. Deposit guarantees that we will hold puppy until ready to go to their new homes and will not advertise to anyone else.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jamie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
