Q. & A. with John

  • Why did you start breeding?

I am a second generation dog breeder. My father raised working dogs and my children are involved with our program now. 2 of my 3 daughters have their own working lab that they run hunt test with and hunt.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a family oriented kennel. This is not our full time job but rather a way of life. Our family consist of 5 humans and 5 dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

John was very easy to work with. From the get go he was quick to communicate with us about our puppy, Rebel. The process was very simple and enjoyable which allowed us more time to prepare for the excitement of our puppy. We enjoyed receiving videos throughout and when the time came for Rebel to come home to us, John was willing to drive out to Florida to drop him off for what would have cost merely a half tank of gas for me. Rebel is a perfect dog. I plan to use him for hunting and so far he has shown amazing intelligence and athleticism. He has a lot of energy and love for my family, and I recommend 3 King Kennels to all my friends who are looking for their very own hunting buddies.
