I'm Chris B., the breeder behind 4Feathers located in Nowata, OK. Our main goal at 4Feathers is to promote the outstanding breed of Australian Shepherds by providing you quality dogs willing to go in any direction you so desire. Our Aussie's are part of our daily life, 24/7, and we strive for you to have the perfect pet for your family.

Why did you start breeding?
I left the corporate world after many years of being away from my family and became a stay-at-home mom. I took a break from breeding a few years back, due to life changes, and have recently entered back into the breeding scene.What makes your program special?
During my time off, I have made drastic improvements, not only to our home, but to the environment the dogs are kept. We now have a fully functional whelping area, with a controlled environment for the safety of Moms and Babes. Our exercise area is well spaced for each animal. We have quality food and health maintenance for each of the Aussies. We take pride in our work!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Chris
Chris has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Chris partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"All our puppies will be up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. We deworm 2,4,6 weeks and use nexguard + at 8 weeks. Our puppies with go home with a goodie bag to ensure you have a great start. A deposit reserves the puppy in your name and removes them from all advertisements. The remaining balance is due at pick up. If using transport, a week prior."

She has not been trained for this, it is 1000% instinctual. She is the own daughter of the matriarch of my breeding program when I was C4 Australian Shepherds, C4 Chaney.

Moose is a big boy with a wonderful personality. His puppies are usually pretty good size as well and most adopt his goofy, fun side, with seriousness when needed. Not only do I love the size and bone he puts on these puppies, I LOVE the ticking, sometimes extremely loud ticking, he puts on the puppies. Moose has been tested through Canine Health and he is clear.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4I had a wonderful experience getting my puppy through 4 Feathers. Chris kept me informed of his status until he arrived. He adjusted very well. House training was a breeze. He is loving, happy, and healthy....did I mention smart. I was nervous about him taking such a long trip from Oaklahoma to Massachusetts but he arrived fine thanks to Nancy his transporter who also kept me well informed. Chris is truly a professional and her puppies reflect the care she has given them. He's wonderful.
