I'm Sonya J., the breeder behind 4J Aussies located in Huntington, TX. My focus is on maintaining the Aussie standard by raising structurally sound pups with excellent temperaments and great health. I am a small-scale breeder, allowing me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and breeding's the proper care and attention they each deserve. All our dogs are family first!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    A very dear friend who owns J&L Ranch Aussies gave me my first Aussie. I had no idea how much those 2 dogs would change our lives. They are remarkable dogs and with my kids grown and no Grandkids, these babies fill that void. I put everything into my baby loves and I strive to raise well socialized, healthy, loving, life long family members!

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies are handled every day, in my home & truly loved. I unofficially name each one & bond with each & every puppy . I can tell you their personalities & can help guide you to the perfect fit for your family. We have a puppy room in our home & I work from home so they are with me 24/7. I take extra precaution's so that my puppies are healthy, happy & ready to thrive in their new homes.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sonya

Sonya has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes ASDR registered puppy, up to date age appropriate vaccines, up to date worming, microchipped puppy, health tested puppies and parents, puppy care package, and the best friend you will ever have. I require a $200 deposit to hold a puppy. All deposits are refundable up to 6 weeks of age. A lot of breeders do not refund deposits but, I want my puppies to go to a home where they are wanted and loved.”

    Sonya is everything you’d hope to find in a good breeder. She frequently sent me updates of my lil guy Slick along with plenty of pictures. This helped A LOT when having to wait for him to reach 8 weeks old- it was so hard to wait! Throughout the 8 weeks, I could not believe how awesome Sonya was with keeping me updated. She follows a good curriculum when raising the pups and you can tell that she takes their growth and development very seriously and is very hands-on with each of the puppies. Slick came home to us very confident and hardly timid at all, but also laidback and can relax too. He also came home doing very well with potty training. Sonya has truly raised the bar for being a good breeder and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an Aussie, hands down. We’ve loved having another lil guy added to the mix and his big brother has loved having another little buddy to play with. Thank you so much Sonya & 4J Aussies!!

    Our family is so thankful for Good Dog! We were connected with Sonya who is the most amazing breeder. As we scrolled looking for our new family member we stopped on 4J Aussies and loved what we saw. Sonya was an experienced breeder that was awesome from our first phone call.     I hit the puppy and breeder jackpot when I found 4J Aussies. Sonya updated me regularly with photos and videos until it was time for my little princess to come home.
