I'm Jamie D., the breeder behind 4J Dachshunds located in Fruitvale, TX. Our dogs are all Embark tested to ensure the best possible outcome from any pairing we have. We focus on having well socialized puppies that are healthy and ready to go on new adventures when it is time for their families to pick them up. Our adults are used for blood trailing as well as cuddles.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My dad has been a registered breeder of larger dogs my whole life so I have always been around breeding and once I was out of college I found the perfect puppy and started working towards having my own small program.

  • What makes your program special?

    I aim to keep my program small to that I can ensure that each of my dogs gets the attention and love that they deserve. They are not just a part of a program, but a part of my family.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, brindle, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jamie

Jamie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration (limited and full offered), first round of vaccinations, deworming, a puppy pack, and socialization. Deposit allows you to pick your puppy and recieve weekly updates until they are ready to come home at 8 weeks.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jamie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
