I'm Amy M., the breeder behind 4paws4ever by Design located in Florence, KY. Our pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We give our dogs the best lives possible. We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of love and care.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding this time about 12 years ago. I had breast cancer in 2011 and I decided I wanted to do something I love to do for the rest of my life.

  • What makes your program special?

    I absolutely am in love with my program. I dedicate my time to raising beautiful healthy babies to complete other families .

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Morkie puppies are black & tan tri-color. Yorkipoo puppies are chocolate. Poodle puppies are apricot. Maltese puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amy

Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $1,650 - $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“I price all my pups per puppy or litter. I base off of color and size and registration and time of year. My deposits are non refundable in cash, if the family has an issue that is beyond their control, I will allow them to place the deposit on a future litter.”

Amy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Oh my gosh where do I even start? Amy was a huge blessing to us! The fact that we even came across her to find our puppies was the best thing that happened to us! We were looking for a girl, but ended up getting two from the same litter (boy and girl) because we could not decide. Nami and Luffy are the best dogs ever! Well socialized, funny, healthy, and trained soooo easily! You can tell she is taking care of these puppies as if they were hers, and they are not scared, they love people and love other animals. Even after we came home, and Nami was so tiny she was not initially gaining weight as fast as her brother, she gave me every advice I needed and assurance that she will be ok, and even offered to take care of her until she is bigger if I needed to take her back. We did not end up having to do that but what assurance you get from such a great, ethical breeder! We are in LOVE! If I ever want another puppy I will travel to Kentucky to get one!! Highly recommend!

    Amy was very responsive and sent me pictures and video and even an introductory Zoom call to meet the puppies. I ended up finding my sweet new baby. I named her Roxie and she is the absolute sweetest and playful pup. I really liked the flight nanny service she uses. Very convenient and was way less expensive than booking a flight myself to pick her up. I ended up purchasing a second pup and Amy is just as helpful with this one too. I highly recommend Amy as a breeder.

    When I first contacted Amy, she responded right away. A little back and forth and a week later, I flew to Kentucky to meet some pups. They were all wonderful, and it was hard to choose. The Morkie I took home is an absolute gem. He has been excellent from the moment I carried him out, in the car, on the plane, and through the airports. This is a well bred and socialized dog. He bonded with our Standard Poodle in less than an hour. And my wife is beyond thrilled with him. I would definitely go to Amy for another small dog. She's communicative, honest, gave accurate descriptions of the dogs, and just a nice person. We love our new pup!
