I'm Kailey A., the breeder behind 5AFarms located in Jonesborough, TN. Our dogs are family pets. We run a full genetic panel on all of our dogs before they are ever used for breeding. All of our puppies are raised in our home, where they are introduced to everyday sounds and noises and other animals.

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding when I was in college. I got my first dog on my 7th birthday, a Border Collie mix named, Bear. He was the most wonderful dog and I knew right away that herding dogs were special. When we moved to our "forever farm", I knew we finally had the space to have several AKC Australian Shepherds, we've since added AKC Standard and Toy Poodles.What makes your program special?
We health test all of our dogs before they're ever considered for breeding. We raise all of our puppies in our home, they are never in a separate building or out of our sight. We take great pride in staying in contact with the families who take a puppy and are always here for questions or support!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Poodle puppies include apricot, cream, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Kailey
Kailey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes AKC Registration, shot/vet records, a "puppy pack", and four completed rounds of de-worming. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable at any time.”

Kailey may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
