Meet the breeder

I'm Constance B., the breeder behind A2Z Mini American Sheperds located in Anoka, MN. We love this breed! Our mission is to raise pups that are good examples of the breed and that will be great addition to your faimly. Matching each family with the right puppy is the key to our success and yours. We are honored to bring another member of the family into your life!

Q. & A. with Constance

  • Why did you start breeding?

In 2019 I decided to try breeding as I felt I had some nice examples of the breed and I wanted to find my next show dog. I have had 3 litters since, focusing on breed standard, personality and abilty to perform. I breed for quality, not quanity. I love studying pedigrees and incorporate that into my breeding program as well.
  • What makes your program special?

I use the Puppy Culture to raise my puppies. I do health testing and OFAs on hips, elbow and eyes on all my breeding dogs & breeding prospects. Puppies are raised in our home and we interact everyday with them. We start potty training, crate training, leash training, and puppies are given car rides. We also educate our new puppy parents about the breed.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
