I feel incredibly lucky to have found Ashlee at A6 Australian Shepards. After searching through countless breeder apps and thinking I had narrowed my search down to those within a 300-mile radius from my home in California, I visited a few breeders in person and spoke with many more—but none compared to Ashlee, who lives on a ranch just outside of Dallas, Texas. I was immediately drawn to her pups because of their striking markings, gorgeous eye colors, and the playful, memorable names she gives each one. My husband had been hoping for a bigger dog, and when I came across a pup named Hulk, I knew exactly what we were getting into—and I was almost all in! From the start, I could tell Ashlee was different in all the right ways. Her pairings are thoughtfully chosen: some dogs are bred with working capabilities in mind, while others, like the parents of our pup Hulk, are chosen for their wonderful, family-oriented temperaments. The difference in care, connection, and commitment at A6 is immediately clear. At other places, I saw clean facilities and met friendly breeders, but there was a surprising lack of interaction or knowledge about the puppies’ dispositions and personalities. Some breeders didn’t even know the pups’ names or which color collar belonged to whom—even at 8 weeks old! That was definitely not the case with Ashlee. At A6, the puppies are loved from their very first moments. Once the mother finishes cleaning her pups, one of Ashlee's own children gently finishes drying them with a towel—offering their very first human touch. The kids continue to play a vital role in socializing and raising the puppies, and it shows. Ashlee documents their growth through almost daily videos, complete with hilarious and insightful commentary. By the time I picked up Hulk, I felt like I already knew him—and everything she shared about his personality turned out to be 100% accurate. Even flying out from California to pick him up in Texas was totally worth it, and Ashlee timed everything perfectly. Now that I’ve been home with Hulk for four days, I can honestly say I couldn't have asked for a dreamier pup—we are completely in love. He’s adjusted beautifully, had almost no accidents (and I fully take the blame for the couple he did have), and he’s already showing incredible patience and awareness around our two cats and other dog. His bite inhibition and gentle playfulness clearly reflect his early training and the benefit of growing up around kids. Ashlee herself is a gem—responsive, patient, and incredibly informative throughout the process. She answered all my questions with kindness and clarity. And best of all, our vet gave Hulk a clean bill of health and was impressed with the complete, organized paperwork provided by Ashlee. If you're looking for a happy, healthy, well-socialized Aussie, look no further. A6 Aussies and Ashlee are truly something special.

Ashlee was responsive and pleasant from the very beginning of my search for a puppy. Initially I saw the sweetest picture of a little girl puppy on Good Dog, but we already have a female Aussie. I was so impressed with the little female is researched Ashlee's breeding profile and was very impressed. Then I saw the little male named Ruger (now Fenris). Ashlee helped me change my inquiry from the female puppy to the male puppy and I immediately put down a deposit. He was the most precious boy. Ashlee sent pictures and videos, many "live" sessions showing Fenris interacting with the other puppies and her children. He was very well socialized. And exceedingly easy to potty train. Ashlee was available for questions or concerns and flexible with our pickup timing - making sure it worked for both her and us. We drove to pick up Fenris in person having paid through Good Dog we just signed the contract and had a going away bag with a toy, blanket, food and Fenris' shot records. This was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Ashlee!!! Her dogs are incredible and beautiful. Fenris is smart, handsome, loving, gets along with our female Aussie, our two cats and our children. Ashlee and A6 Australian Shepherds is a quality, reputable breeder with amazing animals.
