I'm Aaliyah O., the breeder behind Aaliyah’s Dobies located in Canton, OH. When I got my first Doberman, I was instantly in love. Since then, I've made it my mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families! Our puppies are raised around children and they are personality tested to match your needs. I am a small scale, family oriented breeder.
Q. & A. with Aaliyah
Why did you start breeding?
My mom got my first Doberman that was my childhood dog. She was horrible health wise. When I purchased my first Doberman as an adult (Mystik), I decided I wanted to better the breed and provide families with a long living healthy companion.
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is special because it is such a happy family! From birth to rehoming we make sure you get the perfect puppy for your family! This includes temperament testing and making sure children are involved in the puppies lives from birth. I have a group chat for my puppy owners to meet up for puppy play dates, share pictures and ask each other questions. You get lifetime breeder support
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and rust, blue and rust, fawn (isabella) and rust, and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

After extensive research, I chose a Doberman for our family because of their loyalty, intelligence, protective nature, and gentleness with children. That search led me to Aaliyah, and I couldn’t be happier. She has been extremely informative from the very beginning, answering every question and guiding us through the process with care. Our puppy came home healthy, confident, and already comfortable around our young kids, which shows the amazing work she puts into her litters. Aaliyah’s passion for the breed and ongoing support even after we brought our puppy home make her truly exceptional. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Doberman puppy.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
