I'm Kim H., the breeder behind Abendrot located in Oklahoma. We responsibly breed high-quality Doberman Pinschers. We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to our dogs and our policies. We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and we want our program to be an example of how to consciously breed quality, healthy dogs. We also enjoy participating in the show ring and titling our incredible Dobermans!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
