“Puppy picks are done between five and six weeks old. This lets us get a feel for their personalities before families make their selections. A deposit holds your spot in line for either a male or a female.”

“The price includes AKC registration, first set of shots, dewormed at two, four, six and eight weeks old, Vet checked and microchiped.”
Delaney may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Puppies are 5 weeks old now and are definitely getting more rambunctious. They get hrs of playtime everyday in my home.

Nail trimming time for the puppies. I find that the more you work on basic handling while young the easier it will be once they are older. All of my puppies get their nails filed 2-3 times a week so they are very used to their paws being messed with.

All of the puppies are growing like weeds. They are starting to move around a lot more. No one has their eyes open yet, but that should come in the next week or so. Mama Layla is being amazingly attentive and is a 24/7 milk bar for her pups.

As a fellow Australian Shepherd lover, I know finding the right temperament of puppy has a lot to do with the doggie parents and how the puppies are raised in their first couple months of life. Aussies can have all the best qualities of a well balanced dog when they are well bred and raised! We lost our faithful Aussie dog to cancer, and immediately began looking for new paws to fill the canine void. We live on a ranch with chickens, cats, and horses, so I needed a dog that will be calm and respectful of his fellow animals. Even more importantly, we are starting the journey of providing equine therapy at our ranch, so I was looking for a dog who would be another avenue of therapy to our guests. I thought it could take awhile to find just the right puppy, but Delaney's litter was one of the first I came across. I contacted Delaney and she got back to my right away. Over the phone, I had a huge sense of peace about Delaney as a breeder. Her standards, her choice of dam and sire, how her dogs are integrated into her life, everything about her breeding program sounded absolutely ideal. I am so grateful to have found her! The whole process was beautiful, meeting all the puppies and picking out our little boy, the business side of the deal, and communicating about our puppy before he came home. Delaney made his going home day special, and it's obvious she really cares about each and every puppy and finding them the right home. We have had our puppy for 3 weeks now and he has more than lived up to our expectations! He's a dream puppy with the loyal and intelligent qualities of a classic Aussie, as well as the calm demeanor and people friendliness we were looking for. He wants to please and is extremely teachable. It's hard to believe we've only had him as part of our lives for 3 weeks. We've been on so many adventures and he has excelled at all of them. He has already brought joy to people of all ages at our ranch and another rescue horse ranch we work with. Delaney has blessed our lives incredibly by passing on this adorable gift of an Aussie. He's a treasure.
