Meet the breeder

I'm Jeffrey L., the breeder behind Addie's Aussies located in Volant, PA. We are committed to breeding amazing Aussies that exemplify all the best traits of this wonderful breed! Our pups are champion bloodline AKC purebreds raised in our home with our children and other pets. They make great family dogs and have the potential to be great competitors as well!

Q. & A. with Jeffrey

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our first family dog (Lexi) is such an amazing dog who is smart and playful and lives up to the Aussies nickname "velcro" dogs! We wanted to afford others the opportunity to have their very own Lexi to love!
  • What makes your program special?

We live in rural PA where our pups have plenty of room to roam and play. Also our children take part in helping care for and socialize each pup so that they are ready for a family setting when they leave our care!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I really had such a great experience with getting our puppy Nova. Jeffrey was very responsive when I had any questions. He made me feel totally comfortable with the process. We love our sweet girl we brought home! I couldn't have asked for a smoother process.

Lina is doing great. She’s is a whopping 15.6 lbs (she just ate dinner) she sits, and comes, and sings her bell to tell us she needs to go out. She loves her grass time and wondering around. Today we did ice cube enrichment and then she looked for more in her water bowl, oops. We call her raptor after 6 pm as she likes to play bite, which we are working on saying ouch and then she gives us kisses. Today we put the halter on, not a fan, and the collar also not a fan. We will be doing leash work this week. She’s super cute and she did her all day crate while I was at work today and did great. We love her so much now we just hope she will cuddle soon, baby steps as she is super miss independent.
