I'm Vicki H., the breeder behind Adeline Joys Shih tzus of Roanoke Virginia located in Roanoke, VA. My shih tzus are just one of the family. They live in our home. And have their own room with 2 pens for their litters.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Getting a shih tzu for Christmas, she is my sweetest baby, I love her. When she had her 2nd heat, I took her to be bred, and the rest is history. It's a true blessing to do something I love, helps to supplement, but most of all is to see the joy on a family's face, hear the stories of their older shih tzu that had passed, and wanting a new baby. And able to meet folks that become friends for life

  • What makes your program special?

    I truly love my babies, they are right here in the house with my husband and I. Our children are grown and out of the house with their own families. These babies are our children, and our grandchildren comes over and plays with our fur babies and help us with taking care of them. It teaches them love and responsibility. And my babies love them to come play with them. These babies are my heart.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate, blue, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include between $1,300 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Some of the babies are smaller, they are all a little more. The males are 1200.00, and thefemales are 1700.00 sometimes the coloring could play into the price. If they will be going to a new home for breeding.”

    Vicki could not have been any easier to deal with. You can tell she certainly loves her dogs and it shows in the way they are treated . She made the arrangements easy for us to visit her and have our pick and worked around our schedule to pick our new boy up. Our Shih Tzu , Finnegan is beautiful and very bright and full of energy .     From the first interaction with Vicki to leaving with our beautiful Willow, it couldn’t have been a more positive experience.     Everything went absolutely perfect. Vicki went above and beyond to assist us in getting our new baby girl “Bailey”. She is adorable and we couldn’t love her more.
