I'm Cari M., the breeder behind Adger Lake Labradors - Silver & Charcoal located in Benton, LA. We are a family-owned and operated Labrador Retriever breeder that specializes in silver and charcoal colored Labradors! We produce outstanding puppies that are in excellent health and have loving temperaments. We are proudly recognized by the AKC!
Q. & A. with Cari
Why did you start breeding?
During high school, I purchased my first non-registered Labrador and my dream for her was to have puppies...only to find out within the first year she had a disease and had to be spayed. After years of biology and genetic classes, I became a breeder to teach people the importance of health testing and to ensure their pup will live a long fulfilled life by their side!
What makes your program special?
We are a small, family-owned business where our dogs still get to be dogs! They live a life full of cuddles and love, squeaky toys, sunbathing in the window light, barking at the chickens, and sometimes they even sleep in the bed (I'm sure my husband hates it)! Rest assured that your future puppy comes from a very loving home!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver and charcoal. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
