Why did you start breeding?
We purchased our first Doberman in 2019 decided to show him an AKC and after falling in love with the breed with my friend and mentor, I decided to take on breeding and will never regret it.What makes your program special?
I am a breeder that will be involved with the dog for its life. If the owner ever needs anything I will be there for help or with any questions we breed for longevity. It is a very important part of our breeding program along with health checks.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Higgins
Higgins is a male Doberman Pinscher. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Jamie decided to make him part of their program. Jamie has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
