I'm Katie L., the breeder behind Adventure5 Border Collies located in Ripley, OK. My goal is to produce wonderful family companions that can go any direction. I focus on dogs that are low to medium drive, that are healthy, and have wonderful temperaments.

What makes your program special?
I put my heart and soul into my dogs and their puppies. The puppy area is kept extremely clean. They are handled daily. Started on kennel training and puppy pads. I try to make the transition easy for both them and their new family. I will be here for you, not just before you purchase a puppy from me, but the entire time you have one.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Buddy is the sweetest, most tender hearted dog I own. He belongs to my 10 year old little boy. Wherever Eli is, Buddy is. From sitting in his bedroom with him to chasing him on the 4wheeler. Buddy is a lilac merle and he is close to 50 pounds.

Honey was imported here as a puppy from Poland. She is such a sweet dog. She is gentle natured, built like a tank, and very affectionate.

Oh sweet Red. He's the dog that made me fall in love with this breed. He actually belongs to my 11 year old daughter. Red is the most laid back dog that I have ever seen. Not much bothers him. He's easy going and goofy. Smart, alert, and incredibly beautiful. He always throws beautiful babies. Some of his past pups have went on to become service dogs.

About Nova
Nova is the best dog ever. She literally goes with me everywhere she can, and she assists me in everything I do. She knows when it's time to wake up the kids for school, and she lays in their room until they're asleep, then she comes to my room. She loves me, but she also loves my kids. She is very protective of them and actually any of their friends who come over. She loves people and lives to please. She's very smart, attentive, and alert. She's on the smaller side, but she's very compact. She has a good build, stout, gorgeous coat and has the prettiest head on her. If you can't tell, she's pretty perfect in my eyes 😉

+7Katie is a wonderful person to work with! We knew we wanted a red merle Border and we applied before she had puppies. Katie kept us informed each step of the way and sent us home feeling confident we had made the right choice. Our Sadie girl is a playful, loving and confident puppy. The first night she was home with us, she was curious but excited. We couldn't imagine our lives without her and Katie has been such a joy. We still trade pictures and holiday cards! She has raised amazing dogs and we're proud that Sadie comes from Nova & Red's bloodlines. Sadie's temperament and color couldn't be more perfect for our family and we're so grateful to have a breeder that still wants to know how she's doing. Katie's dogs are so loved and Sadie is a testament to how nurturing her environment was for her first few months. When we picked up our sweet girl, Katie sent us home with a handwritten note, all of the health information and our AKC application. She helped us feel so comfortable as Sadie is our very first dog and made sure we knew everything we needed before we parted ways. Adventure5 border collies are the perfect family dog for us and we are forever grateful to Katie and her family for our Sadie.
