Meet the breeder

I'm Sosha B., the breeder behind AEW Farm located in Citra, FL. At our family farm, we strive to raise healthy, intelligent, well-rounded puppies with great temperaments. Our pups are introduced to kids, cats, livestock, and other dogs from an early age. They are loved, well cared for, and given every opportunity to grow and thrive.

Q. & A. with Sosha

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our desire to breed came from our love of different breeds. We started with an AKC Great Dane as a pet, one that could grow up with our kids, then we came across a beautiful Australian Shepherd, and so our pack started to grow. We wanted dogs that were family friendly, versatile on the farm, protective, and everything that these breeds have to offer.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding isn't for shows, isn't for rewards, we do it because we love our animals. We do this as a teaching opportunity for our kids. It's reward is that we get to see so many families find a loving pet, getting to know the families, providing updates, receiving messages as the puppies grow, showing how amazing this process is.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Great Dane puppies include black and white, blue brindle, brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Sasha while finding our new puppy through Good Dog. From the very beginning, Sasha was incredibly communicative, responsive, and transparent. She took the time to answer all of our questions, kept us updated throughout the process, and made us feel completely comfortable every step of the way. It was clear that she truly cares about her dogs and the families they go to. Our puppy came to us healthy, happy, and well-adjusted, which speaks volumes about the care and attention Sasha provides. You can tell she puts her heart into raising her dogs the right way. The entire experience—from first contact to bringing our puppy home—was smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. We feel so lucky to have found Sasha, and we are incredibly grateful that platforms like Good Dog exist to connect families with responsible, caring breeders like her. We highly recommend Sasha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated breeder. Thank you again for everything! Marc

When I expressed interest Raven, Sosha immediately responded to me. I appreciated how quickly she got back with me, especially since I'd had trouble getting responses from others. She was super friendly and helpful answering my questions. After talking for a bit, she agreed Raven was the right fit for me and we set up a pick up date! She sent me lots of pictures of Raven and kept me up to date on her, and even let me come by a week earlier to meet all the puppies. All the puppies were so sweet and loveable, but Raven really did stand out to me as my girl. When pick up day came, Sosha gave me a bag with all kinds of goodies to help both me and Raven start our journey together, and folder with all the important paperwork. The first day was obviously overwhelming for Raven, but she's since settled in wonderfully. She loves cuddles in bed, and her dad (my boyfriend) is completely wrapped around her little paw. Every day she's learning new things, and everyone who meets her falls in love. I'm so grateful to Sosha for giving me this opportunity to find a wonderful new family member.
