I'm Amber D., the breeder behind AJD Aussies located in Knoxville, IA. I raise purebred Australian Shepherds in my home. They spend their days out on the farm and the nights hanging out in the house. All puppies get socialized to new conditions and a start to basic commands to start their training and making it easy for new owners. Loving, Happy, Family Raised Puppies.
Q. & A. with Amber
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with Australian Shepherds and got my first one in 2014. I have raised my dogs in house and in kennel settings, allowing them to spend time and gain experience in both indoor and outdoor settings. I currently live on a 5 acre farm with plenty of room for my dogs to run and play.
What makes your program special?
The puppies will have the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in both indoor and outdoor situations with plenty of space to explore new things, play with toys, and socialize with other dogs, animals, and people.
They also have the opportunity to experience early kennel training as well as early concepts of indoor, outdoor, potty training.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
