I'm Wendy S., the breeder behind Akasta Aussies located in Cleveland, TX. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. Our mission is to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to select their future homes with careful attention.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother always showed/breed The Japanese Akita work wide. I would travel with her and help with the dogs . I always loved being a big part of caring for them . Unfortunately when cancer took her life it broke my heart to look at the Akitas . I decided to dedicate myself to the Mini Aussies and honor my mother be using her kennel name as my own .What makes your program special?
I breed for the love and integrity of the breed & only have a few litters a year. All my dogs are family first and raised in my home. Our puppies are very socialized, handled, and loved from birth. They are introduced to many outside stimulations , sounds and sights in their country setting. All our dogs have their genetic testing prior to considering breeding, as well as, being very sound . We stand by each puppy that leaves our home and insist their new parents share all their milestones with us.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
