I'm Alana R., the breeder behind Alaken Collies located in North Carolina. We strive to produce puppies that adhere to the breed standard and are exceptional in the home and on the farm. We love our dogs! Our objective is to raise Collies that are great at their work, but also willing to settle in with the family at the end of the day. We place our puppies in homes that will be suited to their temperament and ability.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
