I'm Chelby A., the breeder behind Albrecht Acres located in Petersburg, IL. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up raising Collie puppies, learning responsibility and the joy of new life. I later raised puppies to help pay for college. Now, as a homemaker with four kids and a hobby farm, I’m sharing that experience with my family. Our Maltipoos are raised in our home with love, play, and hands-on care, growing into happy, well-socialized companions.

  • What makes your program special?

    We’re a family of six raising animals on a hobby farm. Our Mini Poodle, Joy, is our beloved family dog—not part of a breeding program. This is her first Maltipoo litter, raised with love, daily kid and animal interaction, and lots of play. Joy is calm and cuddly, and her pups are growing into sweet, well-socialized companions ready for loving homes.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black & white, apricot, phantom, and black & tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Chelby

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
