I'm Jill B., the breeder behind Alchemy Havanese located in Lawrenceville, GA. At Alchemy Havanese, our dogs are family pets first. All of our dogs live in our home and participate in activities with us, ranging from the show ring to family hikes. We aim to breed high-quality Havanese with a focus on health, temperament, and the breed standard. We are also involved with the newly AKC-approved Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka breed.

Why did you start breeding?
I am a new breeder who is fortunate enough to have some of the best mentors in my breed.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are handled by kids every day, and our puppies grow up in a busy household. We socialize our pups at our local all-breed kennel club and around our community. As a result, our puppies are well-rounded and ready to join you on your next adventure!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jill
Jill has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Jill partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“While it is easy to fall in love with a cute puppy based on color or gender, we are very careful to match puppies to the right families. At 7 weeks of age, our puppies are temperament tested. At 8 weeks of age, my mentors evaluate the puppies, and we determine who will be placed in show homes or pet homes. After this, I place puppies with families based on what the family has shared they are looking for and on the puppy's personality, which will be the best fit. ”
Price
“Price includes appropriate vaccines, AKC registration, microchip, and 30-day pet insurance. Deposits are placed on a litter, not a specific puppy. Once we've evaluated conformation and temperament testing is done, we match puppies with the best family for their personalities.”

Litter update on 22 Aug. 2025 •…Just two left looking for their perfect matches! At 14 weeks old, these babies are still tiny and adorable but have had extra one on one training time so they are crate trained and sleep through the night! Both use pee pads and will be easy to transition to going outside to potty if that’s your preference. We are doing well with leash training and Roger may hit the show ring for a puppy match if he doesn’t go home before the upcoming show

About Lyra
Lyra is a gentle soul who gets so happy to see her people that he whole body wags instead of just her tail. When her favorite people get home she yells "Wooo wooo wooo" and we say it back to her and she jumps all over in excitement. She LOVES to have her ears rubbed and massaged, and if you stop she will lay down and take both of her paws and rub them on her ears to tell you she wants more. She absolutely rules the roost, and sleeps on our bed every night. She was shown as a puppy but joined our family as an adult. She spends her time helping us "train" the puppies that come to show with us. She's firm but not aggressive and loves to wrestle and play a good game of chase. Lyra did a great job with her first litter, and we can't wait to see how this litter turns out.

About Ollie
Ollie earned his Champion title in conformation with the AKC in September of 2025. He is also an International Champion (IABCA) and UKC Champion. We are working towards his AKC Grand Championship and also starting agility work. He is my heart dog, and as my first Havanese, we learned a lot together, most typically the hard way. Ollie runs around like a crazy dog when I first come home, trying to find the perfect toy to bring me. Once he brings it to me, he waves it around to show it off, but won't hand it over. He's always up to something funny, absolutely adores playing with puppies, and is wicked smart. I would love to see some of his future puppies compete in dog sports! Ollie is currently sporting cords, which he prefers to the grooming required of a full show coat! His color is technically Red Sable Parti Belton. It's a really unique coat color! Ollie is fully health tested and is part of only 3% of all Havanese tested that received the EXCELLENT rating for his hips!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
