I'm Kathie M., the breeder behind Aldrich Mountain Labradors located in Mount Vernon, OR. We are dedicated to producing healthy and happy English Labradors. Our puppies are raised in our home and we look to provide families with a well-rounded and socialized Labrador.
All adult dogs have been genetic tested.
We believe in only the true colors of a labrador, yellow, black and chocolates.
Q. & A. with Kathie
Why did you start breeding?
We bought our first Lab (female) 41 years ago and she was such a good bird hunter. We thought we'd try and produce a litter of hunters like her, in which we did, and that got us hooked. Since then we have now moved over to more service/companion then hunting dogs.
What makes your program special?
I'm there through the entire birthing process, every birth is documented, weighed, time documented, position and collared. I weigh all pups daily for the first 3 weeks. I'm hands-on in every aspect of dogs. We do not hire any help. We're in constant touch with our people, no middle man.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
