Alina’s Royal Yorkies is a small breeding program focused on ethical practices, quality over quantity, and health-tested parents.   • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding grew from a lifelong passion for dogs and years of hands-on experience. I wanted to take a more intentional role in preserving the breed, so I focused on education, health testing, genetics, and responsible practices before starting. My goal is to produce healthy, well-tempered dogs and support families every step of the way.

  • What makes your program special?

    What sets my breeding program apart is intention. I keep my program purposefully small so I can be hands-on in each dog’s care and development. I prioritize health-tested parents, thoughtful pairings, and temperament over trends. I’m committed to ethical breeding, transparency, and supporting families well beyond placement.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver, chocolate, tan and white, chocolate and tan, parti, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Desiree

Desiree has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Desiree partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy pricing is based on pedigree and registration (AKC, CKC, or APRI) and includes vaccinations, deworming, early socialization, and ongoing breeder support. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy and will be applied toward the final purchase price. Deposits confirm serious intent and help plan each litter responsibly.”

Contract & health guarantee

Desiree may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
