I'm Morgan E., the breeder behind Alinost located in Birdsboro, PA. Message me and I'm happy to talk! I had my first litter in June 2025 and loved the experience, and my girl Yo-yo was a wonderful mom. My current grand champion boy here was my first show dog and first adventure into the serious side of dogs. Proven stud as of 09/2023. My dogs are my whole life.
Q. & A. with Morgan
Why did you start breeding?
I just fell in love with shelties, had two pets before getting a show dog, and I was lucky enough to get one to rock the ring. Finished with all points owner handled in just a few months, grand champion within a year. I then decided that I wanted to help share these wonderful dogs with more homes, as well as help better my breed.
What makes your program special?
I want to create dogs that are as intelligent and versatile as the are beautiful. Most of my dogs do at least a few sports alongside conformation, along with just starting now into agility. My puppies are socialized with as many experiences as I can, from loud noises and the vacuum cleaner when young, to meeting friend's children, cats, and adventures in a stroller to street fairs and events.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white blue merle and tan, white and black, white blue merle, white black and tan, blue merle white and tan, black and white, blue merle and white, black and tan, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Caliban
The son of my Dante, he has been deemed the most social sheltie out there by most who meet him. He's never met a stranger. At home he's cuddly and energetic. He's probably the highest drive dog I own, but is still biddable and easy to live with, he usually sleeps on the pillow above my head, and gets along with all other dogs and animals.
Good hip prelims, finals xrayed and pending, swab sent in for animal genetics panel, but results known via parentage, all clear and aaBb
She's spunky, cuddly, and a fun little dog. She loves other dogs and is appropriately aloof with people she does not know, but warms up quickly. She absolutely adored her first litter and is a wonderful mother.
Excellent health testing
Dermatomyositis, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), +5 more.
Annabelle, mom
Shetland Sheepdog
About Annabelle
Annabelle is a fun dog, much more one to play than lay with you or want petted, but she's usually got at least two feet in the air! She has some AKC points, but was in an accident and now has a dropped ear due to scar tissue and some bad teeth. She's aloof with strangers, but very attached to people once she gets to know them. This will be her second and last litter
Excellent health testing
Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), +3 more.

His most noticeable characteristics are his parallel head planes, strong bone, and distinct and correct “stop”. He moves well with balance and plenty of rear drive. He has nice rear angles and a good amount of front and neck. He has a wonderful and sweet expression with rich dark brown eyes that almost appear black. He has a smooth gait and a free stack that I did very little to train as he falls into it naturally. He stands at 15.5” tall. His coat has never shown any signs of rusting.
Dante took the idea of the word “Velcro” a bit too seriously, he sleeps in my arms like a teddy bear at night, and is my constant shadow. No separation anxiety, however.
He’s driven, energetic, and is loving a range of sports from weight pull to trick training, and we’re now starting in agility. He’s also had a chance to try herding both ducks and sheep, and proved to have herding instinct.
While he’s aloof to strangers, he’s always willing to do whatever I ask. He was one of the few dogs representing our breed to the crowds at the National Dog Show in 2022.

Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Dermatomyositis, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Puppy "Merlin" was received from the breeder Alinost with a splinted broken leg. This has presented some unique care challenges. He is however progressing well with potty training, walking on a leash, and socialization.
On the positive side, his splint will finally be removed mid-OCT after almost two full months of healing time.
On the negative side, we are disappointed that the breeder was apparently unable to add my wife's name to puppy's registration via "correct@AKC.org".
