Meet the breeder

I'm Morgan E., the breeder behind Alinost located in Birdsboro, PA. Message me and I'm happy to talk! I had my first litter in June 2025 and loved the experience, and my girl Yo-yo was a wonderful mom. My current grand champion boy here was my first show dog and first adventure into the serious side of dogs. Proven stud as of 09/2023. My dogs are my whole life.

Q. & A. with Morgan

  • Why did you start breeding?

I just fell in love with shelties, had two pets before getting a show dog, and I was lucky enough to get one to rock the ring. Finished with all points owner handled in just a few months, grand champion within a year. I then decided that I wanted to help share these wonderful dogs with more homes, as well as help better my breed.
  • What makes your program special?

I want to create dogs that are as intelligent and versatile as the are beautiful. Most of my dogs do at least a few sports alongside conformation, along with just starting now into agility. My puppies are socialized with as many experiences as I can, from loud noises and the vacuum cleaner when young, to meeting friend's children, cats, and adventures in a stroller to street fairs and events.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white blue merle and tan, white and black, white blue merle, white black and tan, blue merle white and tan, black and white, blue merle and white, black and tan, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Puppy "Merlin" was received from the breeder Alinost with a splinted broken leg. This has presented some unique care challenges. He is however progressing well with potty training, walking on a leash, and socialization. On the positive side, his splint will finally be removed mid-OCT after almost two full months of healing time. On the negative side, we are disappointed that the breeder was apparently unable to add my wife's name to puppy's registration via "correct@AKC.org".
