I'm Laurie H., the breeder behind Almost Like Home Services Boarding and Breeding located in Delavan, WI. We are a small family business on a 10 acre farm who breed just one dog at a time so we can give one on one time as much as needed! We train the pups from the beginning and provide a curriculum of stimulation so they become well adjusted. I'm an RN and past Vet Tech so healthcare is high in priority.
Q. & A. with Laurie
Why did you start breeding?
My love of dogs and my medical background was a no brainer. I have great family and friend support for assisting with pups and the best vet for providing excellent care and advise.
What makes your program special?
The 24-hour attention I provide to the pups, as well as the early training procedures, make the pups more desirable. The parents have been chosen for temperament, physical and genetic status, and overall personalities prior to paring for the optimal puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
