I'm Samantha B., the breeder behind Always Faithful Dachshunds located in Waverly, OH. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies, and their families, with a truly positive experience!

Why did you start breeding?
It all started with Tripoli for us, and we absolutely fell head over heels in love with her. The demonstrated loyalty, lovingness, and BIG heart that Dachshunds exude was really the driving factor for us. They're the perfect companions in size and attitude to take with you everywhere.What makes your program special?
What makes our breeding program so special is that our clients get to keep a little piece of one veteran's devotion to their country, and through each puppy, a little more patriotism spreads around our great nation. *Please note, we only breed Mini Longhair Dachshunds. Be sure to ask if we already have puppies available.*What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Samantha
Samantha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Samantha partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
“Limited registration puppies (spay/neuter contract required) and full registration varies in price. Outstanding balance is owed at 5 weeks of age, prior to pick-up. We do NOT accept cash on pick-up. Our deposit is the same for every puppy, regardless of gender, size, color, etc. We take a $500.00 non-refundable deposit for our waitlist or at 1 week of age; otherwise, you forfeit your choice of puppy.”

Sweet, kind, and loyal! Frosty is the least vocal, and never misses a chance to cuddle. She has an excellent personality to her, and just always wants to be in our personal space with us. She is highly active in prey drive, and has an excellent sense of smell for tracking. She has been properly socialized with other dogs, as well as; horses, rabbits, and cats. Loyal, loving, and friendly. He is very athletic, has an impeccable sense of smell for tracking. Jazz loves to spend his time outside hunting, and tracking small nuisance animals. Fantasia is an outgoing Dachshund, and has a personality that is larger than life. She is well-mannered, a social butterfly, and LOVES water. Her coat is lush, soft, and rich in depth of color. Fantasia's favorite thing to do is to play ball. She's been well socialized with other animals to include: horses, other dogs, cats, and rabbits. Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Samantha as a breeder and how it brought me my sweet mini dachshund, Sonny! Samantha with Always Faithful Dachshunds was a joy to work with. She knows her breed and knows her pups! I fell in love with a 4 month old puppy she had not placed yet. The process to meet the dog and bring her home was so easy. Samantha answered all my questions and helped with every step of the way. She is an excellent communicator and very prompt.
