I'm Amanda R., the breeder behind Amanda's Newfoundlands located in Brandenburg, KY. Our dogs are fully health tested with OFA certifications to ensure strong bloodlines. Puppies are raised in a loving family environment with daily socialization and care. We are dedicated to raising gentle, well-adjusted Newfoundlands that become loyal companions and beloved family members.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding dogs after having a golden retriever with an absolute stellar personality and stunning appearance. I felt as though it would be unfair to keep his qualities to myself. I wanted to share his bloodline with other families, so they could experience the joy that he brought to our home! After retiring my golden, I transitioned to Newfs and have had similar experiences with that breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are family, doing life in my home with my human members. I breed because I'm passionate about this breed and want other families to experience life with a Newfie. It's important to me to breed quality dogs with good health lines , to help keep this breed around for many generations. Poor breeding habits are hurtful to the families that fall in love only to lose their pets far too young.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include apricot and black and white. Newfoundland puppies include white and black, black, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda

Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Amanda partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
