Meet the breeder

I'm Maria R., the breeder behind Amber Moon Goldendoodles located in Headland, AL. We only have a few litters each year. All our parent dogs have been cleared for genetic diseases, and are OFA certified before breeding. We are a gold level member of G.A.N.A. the leading association for ethical breeding. We only have a few dogs, so we do not have many litters a year!

Q. & A. with Maria

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have many years of experience in breeding, starting out with Mini and Toy Australian shepherds. We started with our goldendoodle program almost 10 years ago, and have dogs placed in practically every State, including Alaska and Hawaii, and in South America and Canada as well.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is small in size, we only have a few litters each year to ensure that each puppy gets the attention and nurture they need. Our puppies are raised in our home and are used to kids, cats, horses and other dogs which results in well rounded dogs. All our parents dogs are certified clear for genetic diseases, and OFA certified.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, red, chocolate, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
