I'm Amber C., the breeder behind Amber's Flock Homestead located in Allons, TN. At Amber’s Flock, we are passionate about raising exceptional Miniature Dachshunds with outstanding health & temperament. Our small, home-based breeding program is built on a foundation of integrity, dedication, and love for the breed.
Q. & A. with Amber
Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding began with a deep admiration for the Miniature Dachshund’s unique personality, loyalty, and charm. After bringing home my first dachshund, I was instantly obsessed by their intelligence, affectionate nature, and strong-willed spirit. As I learned more about the breed, I became passionate about preserving it through responsible, ethical breeding.
What makes your program special?
At Amber’s Flock, our breeding program focuses on quality over quantity. We raise each Mini Dachshund in our home with hands-on care, early socialization, and a strong emphasis on health, temperament, and breed standards. Every puppy is treated like family, because they are.
Im also a simple hobby farm girl, who lives in a tiny house, so I'm quite literally in the same room with the pups always.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, red, black, chocolate, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
