Meet the breeder

I'm Kim C., the breeder behind Ambrozia Kennels located in Memphis, TN. I acquired my first show dog in 1997. I have owned and shown top ranked dogs. All breeding dogs are fully health tested. My puppies are bred for health, temperament with a focus on breed conformation, intelligence and athleticism. I am dedicated to providing families with healthy sound puppies.

Q. & A. with Kim

  • Why did you start breeding?

I wanted to have the amazing, ranked show dogs that I bred. Not ones I had to buy from someone else. Each breeding is done to cross fault and improve the standard of the breed. I want each one to be better than the one before it. A sound mind/body is key for me. What good is a beautiful show dog if it is so mentally unstable it can't show or genetically flawed it can't be bred. Soundness matters!
  • What makes your program special?

Being a Professional pet groomer the puppies are so well socialized. I also have worked as a vet technician for 12 years in the past so veterinary care is a top priority for my dogs. My puppies are raised inside the house and loved and held from the minute they are born. They have sound temperaments and are health guaranteed. I stand behind my puppies and will take them back at any age.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue merle and white, blue merle white and tan, black white and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Kim breeds beautiful, quality dogs. This puppy is my 4th dog from her. Beau (previously Zack) has a wonderful disposition and attitude. Kim is responsive and very open about the health status, pedigree and anything else that you inquire about. She gave me his entire shot records so it made for an easy transition to my vet.

Kim was great to work with and very knowledgeable about the breed. We have had a great experience with her and our new addition to our family. Pick up is easy and informative as she makes sure you have all the information you will need. After you get your new friend home she follows up to answer any questions you may not have thought of at pick up. Great experience!
