I'm Erin S., the breeder behind Ancient City Aussies located in St. Augustine, FL. We breed for sound health and temperament above all. By exposing the puppies to different sounds, textures, and children, we can help to create well rounded pets. They are very loved and receive personalized attention. Allowing the puppies to be well-socialized before they go to their new homes.
Q. & A. with Erin
Why did you start breeding?
Our family friend is a breeder, and it inspired us to work towards bettering the breed through our own breeding program. Genetic testing, health clearances, temperament, and color all factor in to create sound & healthy family members.
What makes your program special?
We’re a very small program that focuses on sound health testing and temperament above all else. Adding in the Puppy Culture protocols helps take that to the next level. Including early neurological stimulation, sound desensitization, exposure to multiple scenarios (such as car rides), exposure to crate training, children, and early potty training.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
