I'm Angela Y., the breeder behind Angela's Dachshunds located in Steamboat Springs, CO. Tweezer is the OG dog in the family. He is 7. Tela is 3. Twist came 6 months after Tela.. Tela & Twist immediately fell in love. Tela got pregnant on my 50th and the 1st litter arrived Dec 2021. 5 puppies have been in each litter. They had a 2nd last August on Twist birthday. 7 pups are in Steamboat & 3 are in NM. I tell all owners I will babysit anytime! The pups are often at my house! I didn’t intend on being a Breeder, it happened naturally! It’s an amazing & spiritual experience! My home is calm, loving & the dogs are treated like humans! Heated beds, personalized everything, but most of all LOTS OF LOVE from all of us! This breed is exceptionally great with children! I have had DNA testing done to rule out blindness. They have ALL been short haired. Tela is a red short haired & Twist is a black & white long haired piebald. We had 5 puppies 04/30/23! I kiss Tela’s belly and talk to the puppies! I am so blessed to have my 3 wonderful dachshunds & the miracle of life having puppies is a love like no other! Please ask any questions you might have!

“These puppies are AKC certified and come with their papers. The parents have had genetic testing done to rule out genetic disorders like blindness. I babysit anytime I can for free! They are spoiled rotten from the moment they are conceived. Heating pads, Royal Canin food & I have them trained on a washable pad that I send with each puppy. They have a clear bill of health and vaccinations. They are trained travelers! I socialize the pups and most of all they are LOVED beyond words can explain!!! I ask for a hefty deposit because puppies are only puppies once. If you can't do the large deposit reach out to me and we can discuss logistics.”
