I'm Tammy B., the breeder behind Angelic Doxies located in Macon, MO. We offer loving hand raised babies that have free roam of the home once they are old enough, plus they come with 4 wormings, a shot, vet check and partially puppy pad trained, All our babies come with Full AKC or APRI registration.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I love the breed, I do it because of my love for the breed. I have had a Dachshund ever since I was a baby I can't ever remember any part of my life that I didn't have a Dachshund in it.

  • What makes your program special?

    I enjoy taking care of the babies for 8 weeks giving them all the love I can give them to take to there new homes and give to their new owners. I do it for the joy of making people happy and making their lives full of love from their new baby.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, chocolate and tan, blue and tan, blue and cream, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tammy

Tammy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Depends on coloring and markings. Also prices have raised due to everything rising in prices. Also there is a 6.5 percent raise in the price of the baby you choose. My deposits are half the price of the baby, also the remainder of the baby is due to be paid in full, before the time the baby is 6 wks old. Deposits are non-refundable.”

  • PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Tammy is an incredible breeder who breeds simply because she fell in love with Long Hair Dachshunds. All of her babies are so well taken care of. It’s hard to find responsible breeders these days but I can assure you, that Tammy is one of the few truly responsible breeders out there. We were lucky enough to meet not only our puppy’s mom and dad Ember and Chip, but the whole pack! It was like Christmas morning! Linus is so healthy and full of spirit, not to mention certifiably adorable.
